Olá pessoas! My name is Edson Luiz, I have dual nationality, Italian and Brazilian. I was born and raised in Brazil and Portugues is my Native language. I studied English in London, England, where I’ve been living since February 2020. I’m currently in Italy, but I’m due back to UK in 1 soon. I have a degree in Systems Analysis and Development and an MBA in Strategic Marketing Management and Competitive Intelligence.
I love traveling, In America I met Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay, in Europe I met Switzerland, France, England and Italy. I made friends around the world with different cultures that added a lot of value to me as a person and professional.
I have 4 nephews of different ages and I have been teaching Portuguese or other subjects for them since I was a child. My mother is a pedagogue and together we created a teaching plan that adds a lot of value to them. I worked for 1 year in the public esino network with Portuguese and Mathematics. In England I worked as a tractor in specific projects.
My technical high school did 3 years of Portuguese with teachers from a federal institution and in my graduation I had courses in Portuguese strumental. This material is widely used for a more professional and technical language and grammar for articles, projects and works.
With approximately 280 million speakers, Portuguese is the 5th most spoken language in the world, the 3rd most spoken in the western hemisphere and the most spoken in the southern hemisphere of the planet.
I believe that learning a new language is the best way to learn a culture, way of thinking and without a doubt it is a very rewarding evolutionary process.
Many people believe that Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese from Portugal are the same thing, but it is good to point out that the many differences and the accent is totally opposite. If you learn Brazilian Portuguese, you will undoubtedly be able to communicate with other dialects and accents.
